Industry Need for 4.3-10 Connectors The purpose of the 4.3-10 connector design is to separate the electrical and mechanical planes, which minimizes coupling torque and simplifies installation. 4.3-10 connectors have demonstrated industry-leading PIM performance (~166dBc at 2 x 20W) and are capable of withstanding significant cable movement without sacrificing that performance. The 4.3-10 is smaller than the widely used 7-16 DIN connector, which, in a wireless network, allows for more cable connections per rack. This is a major cost advantage for wireless service providers looking to minimize floor space in a venue.
